Get ready to take on that pristine powder with our Snowbike tours and rental. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a first-timer, we offer thrilling experiences for all levels of expertise.
WHAT IS A SNOWBIKE?
Essentially a snowbike is a winter modified Motocross bike that has a track added to it in order to ride through the snow. It is an amazing way to explore the local mountains, while navigating the most fun lines in the trees, or out in the powder.
OUR SNOWBIKES
Explore our fleet of high-performance KTM SX-F 450 bikes, the most powerful in the market. Equipped with Timbersled snow kits, C3 components, and custom parts, our snowbikes offer unmatched power, comfort, and excitement for an exhilarating winter riding experience.
THE TOURS
Our experienced guides will take you up from the valley bottom into the alpine terrain through old growth forests, or depending on the conditions and abilities of the individuals in the group, the are opportunities to navigate the many picturesque glaciers and ice caves in the area. Let us show you our favourite places to enjoy in the Whistler backcountry.
Our services
Snowbike Rental
Explore endless terrain on one of our KTM-powered Timbersled Snowbikes. These machines are designed to shred powder everywhere. Snowbiking has a quicker learning curve than snowmobiling and they can make easy work of off-camber terrain. Rental includes gas and a helmet. Avalanche gear is available for a fee if you don’t have your own. All Rentals Include:
- Helmet if needed
- Full tank of fuel
Pick up the machines yourself or have them delivered to anywhere in Whistler or Pemberton. Safety is our top priority. All riders must carry an avalanche pack, carry an avalanche beacon and wear a full face helmet. Feel free to ring your own safety gear or rent them from us!

The base cost DOES NOT include a snowbike rental ($495). We take our safety, and the safety of our guests very seriously. We want you to have as much fun as possible, therefore our experienced guides have all the necessary credentials to ensure the utmost professionalism and enjoyment while navigating in adverse terrain. You can feel comfortable in knowing that we consider your experience before anything else.

Our team
Snowbikes was founded in 2023 by Alvaro Prieto, a Ski and Motocross coach who emigrated from Spain to Canada in 2017. Alvaro has always been passionate about skiing, and has spent his winters instructing skiing since 2006. In the summer, his focus changes to Motocross and Mountain Biking primarily. After his introduction to snowbiking while living in Whistler, he discovered that this sport encapsulated his favourite aspects of skiing, motocross, and mountain biking all in one, and that sparked his current passion for snowbiking.
